On the way to a post birthday dinner with and for my friend Toni's birthday, we passed right by the sign for the Veggie Stand. Dinner was quickly put on hold so that we could do some investigative work. The sun was setting but there was just enough light for us to check out the stand. It's as cute as can be and nestled in front of a generous portion of their farm land. Now that's what I call FRESH food!
Toni and I will definitely return to purchase some of the goodness being offered at The Veggie Stand. We can't wait to see all that they have to offer in the light of day.
Here are the important details:
- The stand is brought to us by Gallmeyer Farms. They are located at 4506 Millers Lane, Richmond, VA 23231. This is less than 1/2 mile from White Oak Mall on Laburnum Ave.
- The Veggie Stand is open from 9 AM - 7 PM daily
- The Pumpkin Patch is open seasonally from 8 AM - Dusk
